James Dickerson is an attending student at Winchester University and a member of the Coalition of Racial Equality. He is a recurring character in the Netflix adaption series Dear White People, portrayed by Nicholas Anthony Reid.

In a meeting with the Coalition of Racial Equality, James sat among them, listening as Coco Conners made an announcement of Troy Fairbanks's removal from the group. Excitingly, he nominated himself to be his successor as leader but was outvoted by the other members, losing the position to Coco.[1]
