The Coalition of Racial Equality (CORE) is one of the four student unions that construct part of the Black Caucus. Led by the Dean's son Troy, the union works to bring about change for every student on campus, often clashing with Black Student Union and their methods of protest.

Before its creation by its leader, Jeanette was a member of the Black Student Union and was a romantic partner to its leader of the time. However, when the student union voiced itself over its female members and upon discovering his infidelity with other black women on campus, she left BSU and established the Coalition of Racial Equality. CORE is also the only predominantly black student union that is recognized by the administration at Winchester University.
